At the urging of Vicky Lawrence local quilt shop, Overbrook Quilt Connection, Prairie's Edge Patchworks was born in 1994 for customers who wanted to create my sample quilts.
Our aim in designing quilt patterns is to make an interesting quilt using techniques that are easier than the finished quilt reveals!
To avoid as many pitfalls as possible, I listen carefully to the students in my quilting classes. Who better to help decide what works - and what doesn't!
Many of my quilt designs are variations of more traditional quilting designs - don't be afraid to try a few of your own!
My quilt patterns should be a jumping off place for your creativity! Choose a pattern you like and make a quilt of your own combinations!
